Jamon LaRay Marsh was born in Dallas, Texas on March 5th, 1971 to Joseph and Johnnie Marsh. He attended Dallas Independent School District, graduating from Skyline High School in 1989.
Jamon accepted Christ at an early age at St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. Robert Wilson. He was involved in the Usher Ministry, Youth Choir, Sunday School, BTU, BoyScouts, Children and Youth Fellowship and many more ministries.
In May of 1990, Jamon welcomed his pride and joy, his beloved daughter, Jamonica Lashae Marsh, into the world. From the moment she was born, Jamon’s heart overflowed with love and pride for her. He cherished every moment of watching her grow, guiding her with wisdom, and supporting her through life's journey. Their bond was unbreakable, and Jamonica became a constant source of joy, laughter, and purpose in his life. Jamon was immensely proud of the person Jamonica became, and their father-daughter relationship was one filled with love, strength, and unwavering devotion.
Jamon was employed by Hiland Dairy since 2023, starting as a line worker and then upgraded to a puller. He never let the obstacles of life bring him down, he excelled in everything that he sat out to achieve and worked hard daily and enjoyed going to work.
Jamon married the love of his life, Linda Rayson Marsh on August 20th, 2010. Jamon and Linda shared many cherished memories together, supporting each other through life's joys and challenges. They enjoyed spending time and making memories with their children and grandchildren.
Jamon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Rosie Marsh and Arlee and Gladys Tubbs and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His parents Joseph and Johnnie Marsh, his wife Linda Rayson Marsh, Daughters, Jamonica Marsh and Neina Evans; son, Alliquis Mcgill, bonus children,Temetra Smith, Seketra Black and Khamry Marshall; grandson, Jaylen Sullivan; granddaughters, Justyce Erwin and Ja’Liyah Graham; bonus grandchildren Gabrielle Smith, Elijah Woods and Kin Rougeau, his sister, Jonika Marsh (Greg), his nieces Ja’Coreya Lloyd-Thomas(Jathon), JaNaye Lloyd (Jarred) and Jamiya Rand, great niece, Javaya Thomas. Jamon also leaves 7 aunts, 2 uncles, a host of cousins, and friends.
