Asha Monique Creary was born on September 4, 1990, the to proud parents Sedia Goines and Tunde Shoola in Dallas, Texas. On Monday, March 3, 2025, the Lord called Asha home, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
Asha graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 2009 and pursued higher education with passion and determination. She earned her Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees, a testament to her commitment to learning and personal growth.
Asha’s professional journey was one of service and impact. She began her career as a math teacher at a middle school for the Dallas Independent School District, where she also tutored college level math. Then, she moved to Austin, Tx where she established herself as the lead counselor at a middle school for the Austin Independent School District. Later, she followed her calling in mental health, establishing Crave Counseling Quality Mental Health Service in Austin and Killeen, Texas, where she thrived as a Telehealth Therapist. In addition to her work in education and counseling, Asha was an entrepreneur at heart and she found joy in baking cakes and renovating homes, always seeking ways to create and build.
Asha’s love for her family was unwavering. She was a source of light, laughter, and wisdom to those who knew her. To know Asha was to love her, and her spirit will remain with us always.
She is deeply mourned yet lovingly remembered by her mother, Sedia Goines; father, Tunde Shoola; stepfather, Gerald Goines; brother, Bernard C. Akomas Jr; sister, Ashley Osborn; grandmother, Margerite Carter; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She also leaves behind her devoted fiancé, Jarett Triplett, who will forever hold her memory close to his heart.
